Special Interest Groups
HAL-PC hosts dozens of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) that meet at headquarters to learn about and share information on topics from Access to Web Design. Some special SIGs such as the Build or Buy SIG assist members both in understanding what to ask for if they want a custom system, or ordering the components and, under supervision, assembling their own systems. We feel that this in particular fosters confidence in the owner and a stronger understanding of computers. Guests may attend a SIG meeting once as a courtesy.

HAL-PC offers an extensive list of computer classes, taught in small groups in our hands-on classroom. We have a class for everything from the very basics of computer use to advanced office skills with Microsoft Word, Access, and Excel. You can learn to build a web page from scratch, or with point and click editors such as FrontPage. You can even learn to keep your business financial records with Quickbooks ... and MORE! Tuition discounts are available to members.
